Ms. Elsunass 'Kendall' Winstead is the Founder of Compassion4U Care Management, PLLC. Kendall is a Registered Nurse with 25+ years of diverse experience, which includes Outpatient Case Management, Care Coordination, Skilled Nursing Facility Care, and Long Term Care. Currently Kendall resides in Saint Johns County and is a proud Nurse Educator Specialist for a local hospital and has partnered with the Saint Johns County Council on Aging as a sponsor and educator. At the age of 9 Kendall knew she wanted to become a Nurse and at the age of 17 she started this journey as a CNA and Home Health Aide. She realized at an early age her passion centered around nurturing and caring for the aging and those with disabilities. Her purpose for starting Compassion4U started with her Great Grand Mother who passed away at the age of 93. In her Great Grand Mothers latter years, she needed resources and someone to help guide the family through the transitions of her care. During this difficult time Kendall realized the importance of Care Managers and how instrumental they are in advocating for and guiding families. After her Great Grand Mother passed, in remembrance of her, Kendall became an Outpatient Case Manager and provided services to help members of the Georgia Independent Care Waiver Program remain in their homes and avoid hospital or nursing home placement. She also worked as an Inpatient Case Manager in the hospital setting in which she assisted patients with transitional care. She recognizes the need for and the importance of having a Care Manager that will go above and beyond to ensure the client and family is empathized with, understood, respected, and treated with kindness.
